The short version

We use the information you give us to answer you and deliver requested services. We do not sell personal data, run advertising trackers, or operate a newsletter subscription. When online payment is introduced, card details will be entered with and processed by Stripe. Atheer will not store full card details.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Atheer Consultancy (“Atheer”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is a consultancy licensed by the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development. We provide strategic and media consulting, professional training, and technology and artificial-intelligence services.

Atheer is responsible for the personal data described in this Policy. This Policy applies when you visit atheergroup.org, submit an enquiry or training request, ask for a course notification, engage with our services online, or use online checkout when that feature becomes available.

A signed proposal, statement of work, confidentiality agreement, or client-specific privacy notice may contain additional rules for data handled during a paid engagement. Those specific terms apply to that engagement where they differ from this general website Policy.

2. Data we collect

Information you provide

Our forms may collect your name, email address, organization, selected course or service, request type, subject, message, and any notes you choose to include. If you correspond with us, we also keep the content and context of that correspondence.

Service and transaction information

When online purchasing is available, we may receive the purchased service, amount, currency, billing contact details, transaction reference, payment status, receipt information, cancellation or refund history, and details needed to fulfil the order.

Technical information

Our hosting and technical providers may automatically generate IP address, browser and device type, requested page, referring page, date and time, and security, diagnostic, or server-log information. When your browser loads Google Fonts, Google necessarily receives technical request data such as the requesting IP address.

Please do not put passwords, full card details, classified material, sensitive personal data, or confidential third-party information into a general website form.

3. How and why we use data

Depending on how you interact with us, we use personal data to:

  • answer enquiries and prepare requested proposals;
  • process training requests and the specific course notifications you request;
  • arrange, provide, and support consulting, training, and Tech & AI services;
  • process orders, payment confirmations, receipts, cancellations, refunds, and disputes;
  • operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • keep appropriate contractual, accounting, tax, security, and legal records; and
  • meet legal and regulatory obligations or establish, exercise, and defend legal rights.

We process data only where permitted by applicable law. This may include consent where required, taking steps you request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with law, or protecting legitimate operational, security, and legal interests where permitted.

A course-notification request is used for that requested update. We do not currently operate a general newsletter, and we do not treat an enquiry as permission for unrelated marketing.

4. Online payments and Stripe

When online payment is enabled, transactions will be processed for us by Stripe and, where applicable, its affiliates, acquiring banks, payment networks, and payment partners such as Network International, LLC for UAE Visa and Mastercard transactions.

You will provide payment credentials directly through Stripe’s payment interface. If we use Stripe-hosted Checkout, Payment Links, or Stripe Elements as planned, Atheer will not store your full card number or card security code on its servers. We will receive limited records such as the transaction reference, amount, currency, status, card brand and last digits, and information required for a receipt, refund, fraud review, or legal record.

Stripe and its payment partners process data to authorize and complete transactions, detect fraud, meet legal obligations, and handle disputes and refunds. They may process payment data outside the UAE. Their own handling is also explained in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Never send card details through an Atheer contact or training form. Use only the official checkout presented for the relevant service.

5. Who receives personal data

We disclose only what is reasonably needed for the relevant purpose. Recipients may include:

  • FormSubmit, which relays website form submissions to us;
  • our email provider, through which we receive and respond to submissions;
  • Stripe and the payment parties described above when you make a payment;
  • website hosting, security, technical-support, storage, and communications providers;
  • accountants, lawyers, insurers, and other professional advisers under appropriate duties;
  • contractors supporting a requested service, where necessary and subject to suitable confidentiality; and
  • courts, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, and other authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. If Atheer undergoes a genuine reorganization or transfer, relevant information may be provided to the parties and advisers involved, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

6. Cookies and similar technology

The current public website does not use behavioural analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. It also has no user accounts or subscription system.

Basic network and server logs may still be created to deliver and secure the site. Google Fonts receives the technical request needed to return font files but states that its Fonts API data is not used to profile end users or for advertising. External services may apply their own necessary technologies when you use them; for example, Stripe may use cookies or device signals for checkout, authentication, and fraud prevention.

If we introduce optional analytics or marketing technology, we will update this notice and provide controls where consent or another choice is legally required. You can also manage cookies in your browser, although blocking necessary technology may prevent a feature from working.

7. International data transfers

Providers such as FormSubmit, Google, email and hosting infrastructure, and Stripe may process information in countries outside the UAE. Laws in those locations may differ from UAE law.

Where cross-border processing is subject to legal requirements, we use a transfer route and safeguards permitted by applicable law, which may include an approved destination, contractual and organizational protections, or consent where consent is the appropriate mechanism.

8. How long we keep data

We retain personal data only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose described above. The period depends on whether an enquiry remains active, a service relationship exists, payment and accounting records must be maintained, a dispute or limitation period is open, or security and legal obligations require retention.

FormSubmit and other providers may keep temporary service copies under their own documented retention practices. When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or place it beyond ordinary use in secure archives or backups until those copies are overwritten.

9. How we protect data

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data and risk, including access controls, limited disclosure, reputable service providers, and protected payment interfaces. No internet transmission, email service, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

If a personal-data incident requires notice under applicable law, we will take the required steps with affected individuals and the competent authority within the applicable process.

10. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and permitted exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • obtain information about, and access, personal data held about you;
  • request correction of inaccurate or outdated data;
  • receive or transfer your data where portability applies;
  • request erasure or restriction, or object to or stop particular processing;
  • withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful use; and
  • ask for human review of a decision based solely on automated processing, if we ever use such a process.

Send a request through our contact form and write “Privacy Request” in the subject or message. We may request enough information to verify identity and protect data from unauthorized disclosure. You may also complain to the competent UAE data-protection authority where that right applies.

11. Children and minors

This website is designed for organizations and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data online from anyone under 18. If a program is legitimately offered to a minor, registration and payment must be completed or authorized by a parent or legal guardian where required.

If you believe a minor has provided data without appropriate authorization, please contact us so we can review and take suitable action.

12. External links, updates, and contact

Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Stripe, Google, and other external services take you to platforms governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control those practices.

We may update this Policy when our website, services, providers, or legal obligations change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised date; significant changes may also be highlighted through an appropriate notice.
